Housing Indicator Tool, HAND

Brick & Story provides policy direction and project management services for HAND’s Housing Indicator Tool, a digital dashboard that tracks the annual production of rental housing across the region.  As part of this work, we collaborate with the HAND team, the Urban Institute, and Mobility Lab, the HIT designer, to conduct and rollout an update to the tool annually, as well as convene stakeholders, including elected officials, local housing leadership, housing practitioners, and other industry bodies to discuss where progress has been made and where opportunities for improvement still exist.  The HIT serves as an accountability tool, and Brick & Story’s work centered on sharing the annual updates with the broader community to explore what more the industry can do to make progress.
