Brick & Story designed and executed a bi-monthly Advisory Committee series to convene residents and stakeholders in dialogue about the development of the McMechen in Baltimore, MD. These sessions included a mix stakeholders representing a wide range of voices (opposition and support) and provided space to offer feedback on design and  development aspects of The McMechen, with a broader goal of expanding education about affordable housing and shifting the existing conversation/narrative that is currently negative to one that is (more) positive and productive and focused on increasing housing options and affordability as a way to enhance the larger community and create opportunities for future economic development.
