Brick & Story is supporting Enterprise Community Development with resident and stakeholder engagement for the map amendment application for the Skyland Terrace Apartments.  As part of our efforts, Brick & Story is cultivating a Resident Action Team among several Skyland Terrace residents, engaging them and the broader the resident community in monthly convenings to provide education about the redevelopment process and solicit resident feedback on design, relocation, and other project elements, and coordinating with the Advisory Neighborhood Commission to obtain a vote and letter of support for the application.  Activities with on-site resident engagement include regular meetings with presentations by ECD staff, the project architect, and other key team members, as well as field trips to see similar, new construction projects in the ECD portfolio in order to gain a better understanding for what residents want to see in a new design for the community.
