Durham Multimodal Resurfacing and Restriping

Brick & Story worked with a team led by Stantec to support the City of Durham in their efforts to plan for resurfacing and restriping of five state-owned corridors in Durham to improve mobility and connectivity for people who walk, bike, use transit, and drive.

Brick & Story served as the main community engagement strategy and implementation lead. Our tasks included the development of an engagement strategy in both English and Spanish and stakeholder mapping. We assisted with the communications, design, and facilitation of community open houses. We worked in partnership with Just Cities who provided on-the-ground engagement support for locally-based activities.
