Brick & Story provided engagement strategy and implementation services for the proposed redevelopment of Martin’s View Apartments, a ~150 garden-style apartment community in the Bellevue community of Southwest, DC. The proposed redevelopment included a Planned Unit Development (PUD) proposal to increase the density of the site to ~800 mixed-income units with added resident and community amenities including fitness centers, a business center, a community day care, and improved access to Fort Greble Park located directly behind the property. Brick & Story’s services included resident engagement leveraging door-to-door outreach and pop-up opportunities, engagement with the ANC and broader community stakeholders, and management of the PUD application in partnership with the client’s zoning counsel. Brick & Story represented the development team who was looking to acquire Martin’s View from the existing ownership entity.
