Port Towns Sector Plan

Brick & Story worked with a team led by RHI to support the Prince George’s County Planning Department in their efforts to develop a new sector plan for Port Towns. Brick & Story served as the main community engagement strategy and implementation lead. Our tasks included the development of an engagement strategy in both English and Spanish and stakeholder mapping.

Brick & Story assisted with the invitation, design, and facilitation of stakeholder focus groups, community open houses, and community workshops. We also supported in the formation and guidance of a steering group and stakeholder group to support the planning process and eventual implementation of the new plan. Stakeholders that we intentionally targeted using these tools included Latino residents, African diaspora residents, African American residents, low-income residents, renters, seniors, and youth.
