Brick & Story supported Montgomery Parks with their efforts to engage diverse community members around the potential updates to the Rosemary Hills-Lyttonsville Local Park. Brick & Story was invited to collaborate with Montgomery Parks to offer our extensive experience working with residents of multifamily buildings and low income, racially diverse communities. We were tasked with engaging the four surrounding multifamily buildings in their interests and priorities for park renovations, a key stakeholder group who had not voiced their ideas at previous engagement opportunities. Our work included pop-ups to engage these diverse voices and providing recommendations for next steps for Montgomery Parks as they present similarities and differences between feedback heard and how to proceed in park planning.
