Brick & Story is leading engagement strategy and implementation for the Environmental Assessment and Master plan processes for Poplar Point. Working on a team led by HR&A Advisors and which includes AECOM, we are supporting DMPED, the DC Office of Planning, and the National Park Service’s efforts to evaluate the existing environmental conditions and offer recommendations for future redevelopment for portion of Poplar Point.

Brick & Story supported the DC Office of Planning (OP) and AECOM community engagement, including commemoration tours, visioning workshops, and design workshops for Commemorate DC in sites in Wards 4, 5, 7 and Ward 8.

Brick & Story supported Montgomery Parks with their efforts to engage diverse community members around the potential updates to the Rosemary Hills-Lyttonsville Local Park.

Brick & Story worked with Montgomery Parks to engage the diverse communities surrounding the Johnson’s Local Park in Gaithersburg, MD, for its park renovation project and new historic storytelling program.

Brick & Story designed and facilitated a series of focus groups to solicit customer input to inform the update to Montgomery County’s Athletic Fields Usage Policy.
